Merach started in 2019 as a side project between a physical therapist and a furniture designer. We didn't want gym equipment. We wanted objects that move you, designed for the room you actually live in.

Jessica and Daniel met at a physical therapy practice in 2018. She was treating patients. He was designing the waiting room furniture. They argued about whether equipment should be beautiful. They both won.
Merach launched with one product, one color, and a spreadsheet. Today it ships to 47 countries. They still argue. Mostly about type sizes.
Seven years of
small choices.
Two people, one spreadsheet.
Jessica (physical therapist) and Daniel (furniture designer) start prototyping in a garage in Echo Park. The first plate has a plywood deck and a borrowed motor.
The first 100 plates.
We ship to friends-of-friends during lockdown. Half come back with notes. We redesign the deck three times in eight months.
The motor that changed everything.
We switch to a brushless 200W motor and silicone-decoupled feet. Noise drops from 58 dB to 38 dB. The product finally fits inside an apartment.
10,000 plates in homes.
First profitable year. Still no investors, no warehouse partners, no agency. Just better customer service and a longer warranty.
Shipping to 47 countries.
We open a small warehouse in Rotterdam. The plate gets featured in Wired and Vogue Living. We hire our 11th employee — still a small team.
Today.
Same two founders. Same one product. Same focus on the 10 minutes that matter. We're not in a hurry — we're building for the next 20 years, not the next quarter.
